ALSO

“And when he has found it, he lays it upon his shoulders rejoicing.”    St. Luke 15:5

Trembling

when the shepherd found you,

touched you, calmed you,

made your breath like music,

lifting you to his shoulders

you nuzzled his face,

a laugh spurted from him

and he said, “I am glad also.”
